How We Audit Callback Speed

Fast-response claims are easy to publish and easy to mislabel. A provider can time an internal software event, call it a ring, and present the result as if it described what the homeowner experienced. We built our measurement approach around a stricter question: when did the missed call enter the system, and when did the destination phone actually begin ringing?

Define the events before measuring

The callback path includes several distinct events. The missed-call event enters the recovery system. The system creates an outbound request. A voice platform originates the call. The carrier routes it. The destination handset begins ringing.

Those events are related, but they are not interchangeable. An origination timestamp proves that the outbound leg was created. It does not, by itself, prove that the caller's handset was ringing. Our measurement model keeps the platform events and the caller-facing event separate.

Instrument the production path

The measurement path uses the same recovery machinery the service is designed to use. Each handoff creates a system record so the sequence can be reconstructed. Measurement traffic is identified as such so it does not appear as recovered customer revenue or ordinary production activity.

The records answer practical audit questions:

  2. Did that event initiate the expected callback workflow?
  3. Did the voice platform create the outbound leg?

Publish what the evidence supports, not a more flattering proxy

When a timing claim is supported, keep the wording consistent so buyers know exactly what was measured.

That discipline is part of proof-based recovery. The goal is not to produce the smallest-looking number. The goal is to give an HVAC owner a claim that can survive scrutiny and then measure recovery on that owner's own leads.
