How to Tell If an AI Answering Service Actually Made You Money
Learn how HVAC contractors can prove AI answering service ROI with attributed completed jobs, a separate holdout, auditable billing, and their own records.
We could put a number on the website. A lot of our competitors do.
We've thought about it, and we've decided not to. Here's the honest reason.
HVAC businesses do not all produce the same evidence. One shop can export phone logs and completed-job values cleanly; another cannot yet connect the call record to the job record. That difference changes whether Vectrion can prove recovery, not the definition of the contract after it is selected.
Vectrion therefore keeps the public site number-free and reviews the applicable contract track privately. The public description stays plain: a low base plus a fraction of what we recover for the standard track, with separate founding terms where applicable.
The conversation establishes the phone workflow, available records, operating boundaries, and measurement feasibility. It is not permission to invent a bespoke price or imply that a number changes with the mood of the call.
If the shop cannot support the measurement, Vectrion should say so before signature. If it can, the contract states the applicable track and exact terms.
We're accepting a founding cohort right now. That matters to how we price.
Founding terms and the standard track are separate contract paths. Neither is represented by an invented discount, a countdown, or an urgency claim on the public site.
The tradeoff is that the exact terms are reviewed privately. In return, the buyer gets the measurement boundary, operating scope, and contract language together rather than a number detached from what it governs.
A few things are safe to state publicly: the site is number-free, the standard track uses a low base plus a fraction of measured recovery, and no one should be sold a measurement the available records cannot support.
The goal of the discovery call is to figure out whether there's a real match. If there is, we'll give you a number. If there isn't, we'll tell you that too.

Because Vectrion keeps public surfaces number-free. The applicable contract track and exact terms are reviewed privately after the team confirms that the shop's records can support the measurement being sold.
The site does not publish a number or ask a visitor to infer one. Vectrion explains the operating scope, measurement boundary, and applicable contract track before signature.
We learn how calls are handled, what records exist, and whether missed calls can be reconciled with completed jobs. If the measurement cannot be performed, the correct answer is not to sell it.
Deployment scope and timing are stated in the written onboarding plan. This page makes no fixed timing promise.

You'd never install a furnace without testing it, yet an after-hours line can remain untested. Here are four scripted scenarios, pass criteria, and a practical scorecard.
A holdout is an eligible comparison group used to separate observed recovery from work that might have happened anyway.
Two free ways to find out, neither of which commits you to anything. Test your line and we will call it the way your customers do and send you the log. Or send your last 90 days of call logs and get a written audit back — yours to keep either way.
